“Art touches the soul…art is communication…it reaches out from the canvas and passes through the eyes of the viewer right into his heart where it can leave an imprint of beauty that can make the spirit sing.”

Nina Baldwin

Welcome to Nina Baldwin Art!

My name is Nina Baldwin and I am a cloud catcher, dream maker and artist. I have a vast selection of contemporary and abstract paintings for sale, including some landscapes. Each painting embodies and exemplifies the beautiful, soft, feminine form and showcases my appreciation for women supporting women, as well as women on their path through life’s many twists and turns. An experienced artist, I enjoy having the freedom to create and convey emotions through my works of art.

My paintings are original pieces of contemporary and abstract art and are created using beautiful translucent pigments and metallics. Most of them adhere to the theme of “Women Gathering,” showcasing femininity and what it stands for. This is where my passion truly lies, using the arts to empower women to be all that they can be.

All of my works are painted on canvas. By using saturated colors, I am able to hone in on the soft and delicate features that encompass femininity. In addition to paintings, I also have a line of hand-crafted earrings available. The earrings are handmade using fine art papers and hi quality professional paints. Feel free to look through the paintings and jewelry available on my site and please contact me today for more information about my products.

In My College Years ...

… I was a “gopher” to Mr. Paul Coze, French Consul and famous artist in Arizona. Paul Coze was responsible for giving Phoenix its southwestern flair through his many stunning public works. He is my inspiration today as he was then!! His art is timeless!

The Artists Who Influenced Me The Most ...

..didn’t pass down their favorite techniques or best paint brushes. They did more than that. They taught me never to stop learning, to always be curious, to try new things inspite of any fears, to face life with anticipation, and to delight the eyes – they are the doors to the soul.

I Paint in a Contempory Style ...

…sometimes bordering on abstract, which allows me the freedom to create, conveying the emotion of the moment. I tend to use bright, beautiful colors of paint. My work is experimental and many of the techniques I use are unique to my own style, having discovered them on my own in my studio. Thanks for stopping by my blog…I hope you enjoy my wanderings…

As a Young Art Student ...

…my teacher, Miss Hildegarde Steffes, had a great impact on me. She always wanted her students to “stretch”…to try new techniques…to be fearless in their pursuit of art.

… women on their paths in this life … women supporting women!
